The act of violence in Atlanta is not one isolated incident but contributes to the continuing rise of violence and hate crime against the AAPI community across the nation. The intention of this conversation is to engage in the national dialogue of protecting minority communities and responding to hate crime and the intergenerational trauma around it.

They alleged that workers at an auto parts factory in Matamoros, Mexico, were being denied the right to organize. A few days after that complaint was filed, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) also initiated a request through the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism to review allegations of serious violations of workers’ rights at a facility in Silao, Mexico.
