Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Requirements
The requirements for fulfilling your Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirements are mandated by The State Bar of California.
With a few exceptions, all attorneys who are actively practicing law in California must complete ongoing legal training. Twenty five hours of MCLE are required every three years. These hours must include credits on ethics as well as competence issues, such as substance abuse and mental health. For more information, visit The State Bar of California website.
