Dean Erwin Chemerinsky is Dean at the U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Prior to this appointment, he served as the founding Dean at the UC Irvine School of Law. Â Prior to becoming Dean, he was a Professor at Duke University Law School for 4 years, and in 2006 won the Duke University Scholar-Teacher of the Year Award. Â Prior to that, he taught 21 years at the University of Southern California School of Law. He is a renowned Constitutional Law scholar having published 8 books and more than 200 law review articles. Â
