Dean Erwin Chemerinsky is Dean at the U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Prior to this appointment, he served as the founding Dean at the UC Irvine School of Law. Prior to becoming Dean, he was a Professor at Duke University Law School for 4 years, and in 2006 won the Duke University Scholar-Teacher of the Year Award. Prior to that, he taught 21 years at the University of Southern California School of Law. He is a renowned Constitutional Law scholar having published 8 books and more than 200 law review articles.
