Legal Specialization in Privacy Law
The State Bar of California’s Consulting Group on the Establishment of a Legal Specialization in Privacy Law (the “Privacy Law Group”) is tasked with assessing whether there is sufficient need and interest to create a specialty in privacy law. The Privacy Law Group is currently comprised of 13 members – the full roster of members is available on the website of the State Bar of California.
If the members of the Privacy Law Group determine that there is indeed a need and interest to create a specialization in privacy law, they will draft certification standards for review by the California Board of Legal Specialization and the California State Board of Trustees.
