PATENT INTEREST GROUP
The Patent Interest Group provides both education and connection between members of the State Bar Intellectual Property Section who live and work in the world of patents. The Patent Interest Group meets quarterly, enabling our membership throughout California to hear qualified and unique speakers, hold discussions on relevant topics and learn through structured presentations.
The Patent Interest Group also holds regular meetings for its members as well as hosting webinars providing access to dynamic speakers on topics of interest to patent practitioners that offer MCLE credit. In April, the group hosted several MCLE programs, including "Compliance with Added Subject Matter at the European Patent Office: Current Status, Issues, and Perspectives" with two Directors of the European Patent Office as speakers, "Litigating Patent Damages: The Art and Science Behind Post-Judgment Royalties" and "Hot Topics in ANDA Litigation" These programs, as well as others offered by the Patent Interest Group, are available for viewing on-line through the State Bar website to obtain MCLE. Notice of future meetings and webinars will be provided in Inevitable Disclosures, a bi-monthly email newsletter provided from the State Bar IP Section.
