A quick reminder to all – if you have not registered yet, the 26th Annual Public Sector Conference is right around the corner – April 22nd and 23rd. You can still register for two half-days of fantastic programs. For more information, click here.

Earlier this month, our section kicked off its “Pathways to Careers in Employment and Labor Law” with well over 100 attendees. The Pathways program provides information to new L&E attorneys, or others interested in our practice area.  The next Pathways program will focus on the Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) and is scheduled for June 9, 2021.  For more information, click here

Finally, be sure to check out some of the great programs and resources provided by CLA.  Just to highlight a few:  Monthly informal opportunities to chat with fellow attorneys from around the state via Zoom; free speaker training for attorneys who would like to become more proficient in providing online education; on-going wellness events and information; Racial Justice Committee programs and resources to address issues regarding racial injustice and reform; and a particularly important upcoming webinar addressing xenophobia scheduled for April 21.  As members of CLA and the Labor and Employment Law section, you can take advantage of all of these great learning opportunities.
