Message from the Chair Deborah Maddux

I encourage all 8,143 members of the Labor and Employment Law Section to consider applying for a position on the Labor & Employment Executive Committee.  We will be selecting 5 new members to join our dynamic team.  Executive Committee members enjoy the benefits of working with a dedicated group of attorneys to consistently improve the Labor & Employment bar in California for section members and the public we serve.  More information about the ins and outs of serving on the Executive Committee, as well as the application process, are detailed following this message.  If you are interested, read on. 

We are also excited to announce our new Pathways to Careers in Employment and Labor Law scheduled for April 7, 2021 at noon.  This free Zoom event will highlight the vast array of career opportunities available in employment and labor law.  The program is open to anyone interested in our practice, including law students, Human Resource professionals, and anyone looking to pivot within or join the field.  Our diverse speaker panel includes seven Executive Committee members from our Section.  You can register here.
