Happy New Year, all.  We have a lot to look forward to in 2021, including more excellent programs and initiatives from the Labor & Employment Law Section. One of our most popular programs is right around the corner – the New Employment Law Practitioner Conference on January 20th and 21st.  If you are new to employment law, be sure to register.  Also fast approaching is the deadline to submit applications for the Diversity Grant Program – March 31, 2021.  The grants will be given to programs which provide quality education, promote diversity in the labor and employment bar, and educate the general public. If you have or know of worthwhile projects which fit these criteria, you can find more information about the application process below.  For those of you in MCLE Compliance Group 2 (last names beginning with H through M), your deadline to report MCLE hours is January 31, 2021.  But do not fret – we are here to help.  The Labor & Employment Law Section’s website offers many reasonably priced programs, including those pesky – but very important – specialty credits. As always, if you have input or ideas for our Section, feel free to reach out to me or any of the other Officers, Members or Advisors.
