The 30th annual Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite® will be held virtually from October 14-17, 2021.  Registration will open soon.  

Environmental Law 101 Series

In advance of the Conference, we are hosting a free Introduction to Environmental Law webinar series with the California Young Lawyers Association.  This series provides the perfect primer for the Yosemite Conference, for law students, new lawyers, and even experienced attorneys interested in learning more about environmental law.  Watch the Air Quality Law 101 and Water Law 101 sessions on YouTube, and register here for the upcoming CEQA 101 session on October 4, 2021.  Our special Navigating the Yosemite Conference session will be held in October, shortly before the start of the Conference.

30th Anniversary T-Shirt Design Competition

We’re excited to announce a T-Shirt Design Competition for the 30th Annual Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite®. Are you an artist at heart?  Love Yosemite, its people, landscape, history and critters?  This opportunity is for you!  We are looking for design submissions for our commemorative 30th Anniversary Yosemite Conference T-shirts.  Everyone is encouraged to participate – the young and old, Environmental Law Section members, their families, and friends.  The only requirement is that the T-shirts mention the California Lawyers Association, the Environmental Law Section, and the fact that this will be the 30th anniversary of the Conference.  For inspiration, please note that the theme of the conference this year is “Looking back, looking forward” – an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the developments of environmental law and policy during these last decades, and challenges ahead.
