Note from the Editorial Board: New Members Onboard

Welcome to the Volume 33, No. 3, issue of the Workers’ Compensation Quarterly! We hope you are staying safe through these unprecedented times.

We are excited to announce that we have added two new editors to our editorial board: Kia Myers Holsey and Viviana Santiago. Serving alongside editorial board members Randy Pollak and Saro Kerkonian, Kia and Viviana will help build a more diverse, inclusive, and responsive publication for our readership.

Viviana comes from the applicant’s bar, representing injured workers at the Law Offices of Ryan D. Sutherland in Concord, California. She is a graduate of University of California Berkeley School of Law. Currently, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the CLA. You can reach her at viviana@lasllp.com.

Kia is in the defense bar, practicing at RTGR Law in Oakland, California. For ten years before graduating from Golden Gate University School of Law, Ms. Myers Holsey was a police officer. She worked in various positions, including patrol officer and hostage negotiator. Like Viviana, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the CLA. You can reach her at kia@rtgrlaw.com.
