My First Appellate Argument

As an associate aspiring to become an appellate specialist, I was excited (and nervous) for my first opportunity to argue before the California Court of Appeal. I had about three weeks to prepare, and there was much to be done before I would be ready. I took the advice of countless articles and prepared by mastering the record and the law and by practicing the form and delivery of my argument.
