Jamie Wright serves as of counsel to several prominent defense firms in California. Servicing large corporate clients such as Amazon, Loma Linda Medical Center and affiliates, Ms. Wright is a trial attorney with extensive experience litigating and settling wrongful termination, class action, wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, PAGA, and disability claims under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and defending public entities against Section 1983 claims. Ms. Wright has litigated claims on behalf of individuals, businesses, public entities, and insurance companies pertaining to coverage, liability and bad faith actions.
Prior to working in an of counsel capacity, she spent several years at a Los Angeles County defense firm as the Managing Attorney working on labor negotiations and arbitrations, employment, civil rights, negligence, breach of contract, premises liability, and other matters on behalf of public entity clients.
Most recently, Ms. Wright first-chaired a federal jury trial that yielded a complete defense verdict in a disability ADA, negligence, and Section 1983 action against a public entity client and six individual employees. She also has experience as a second-chair in state court in a jury trial on a dangerous condition action against a public entity. Moreover, she has successfully argued cases before the court of appeal in California.
Ms. Wright is admitted to all California state courts, the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
