Michael Robbins is President of EXTTI Incorporated in Bell Canyon. EXTTI provides Expert Testimony, Training and Investigation services in employment matters. He has conducted or supervised well over 500 workplace investigations, and has served as an expert witness in nearly 600 employment cases, mostly on workplace investigation issues. Prior to forming EXTTI, Mr. Robbins was a labor and employment attorney for 20 years, most recently serving as CEO and Managing Partner of Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman, LLP in Beverly Hills. Before that, Mr. Robbins was a partner in the international law firm of Pepper, Hamilton LLP, Director of Labor Relations and Labor Counsel for Golden West Broadcasters/Golden West Television, and a Senior Attorney at CBS, Inc. He began his career in 1977 at the National Labor Relations Board. He is a former Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, a Charter Member and a Past President of the Association of Workplace Investigators, Inc., and a Founding Member and Past President of the Society of Independent Workplace Investigators. In 2013, Mr. Robbins was elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. In 2015, he was invited to and testified before the EEOC’s Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace. Since 2006, he has been selected for inclusion in "Best Lawyers in America, Preferred Experts." Mr. Robbins graduated with Highest Honors from San Diego State University with an A.B. in History in 1975, and received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1978.


Hina Shah is an Associate Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco and the Director of the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic at the law school. Since 2010, she has been an active member of the Coalition of Low-Wage and Immigrant Worker Advocates (CLIWA), a statewide group of non-profit legal service providers and worker centers. Ms. Shah is also legal counsel to the California Domestic Workers Coalition, helping them expand and make permanent overtime rights in California for domestic workers who have historically been excluded from coverage. She has authored numerous amicus briefs on important legal issues affecting low-wage workers on behalf of CLIWA advocates. She successfully argued on behalf of amici before the California Supreme Court in Mendiola v. CPS Security Solutions, Inc., 60 Cal. 4th 833 (2015). In addition, she has published numerous scholarly articles focusing on wage and hour issues impacting low-wage workers. Ms. Shah was the Director of the Employment/Lab or Project for the Asian Law Caucus, Inc., in San Francisco, and Director of their Garment Advocacy and Reform Center, advocating for policy changes in the garment industry. She served as a staff attorney for the Ninth Circuit, was an associate with Leonard Carder LLP and Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in Oakland, and was the founding member and first managing attorney for the Eviction Defense Center, also in Oakland. She received her J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of Law in San Francisco in 1995, where she was the Notes Editor of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelors of Social Work with Honors in 1992.
