THE LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW SECTION’S New Executive Committee Members
Christina (Tina) Ro-Connolly is a Partner with Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP. Tina’s practice consists of investigating Title IX complaints and workplace complaints (harassment, discrimination, and workplace misconduct) for both public and private sector employers. She also conducts trainings, including AB 1825 and workplace investigations trainings.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Ro-Connolly worked for 11 years at the Contra Costa County Counsel’s Office, advising departments on legal matters for a workforce of approximately 9,000 employees. Such legal matters included employee discipline, discrimination complaints, wage and hour complaints, alleged labor violations, and labor negotiations.
During her tenure with the County, Ms. Ro-Connolly handled numerous mediations and administrative hearings, the latter of which included contractual arbitrations, civil service appeals, and hearings before the Public Employment Relations Board. She also has extensive experience advising public safety departments, such as the Office of the Sheriff and the Probation Department.
Ms. Ro-Connolly received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where she served on the Entertainment Law Review and was on the Dean’s List, and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego.
