Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On June 6, 2019, it was my pleasure to attend the 2019 IP and the Internet Conference at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center in Los Angeles, California sponsored by the IP Law Section’s Technology, Internet & Privacy Interest Group. This event was also co-sponsored by the Business Law Section’s Internet and Privacy Law Committee, and is a great example of how the IP Law Section can partner with our sister sections to provide high quality and up-to-the-minute information and practice advice in the fast moving legal areas such as internet and data privacy law. Congratulations to the program planning committee of Emily Yu, Bennet Kelley, Barbara Friedman, Jonathan Lurie, Michele Ferri, Josh de Larios-Heiman, and Jared Gordon. My thanks also to the speakers, sponsors, staff and attendees for making this such a successful program.
