ENVIRONMENTAL LAW SECTION: A CELEBRATION OF THE 2023 DIVERSITY & INCLUSION FELLOWS
Written by Jennifer F. Novak1
The Environmental Law Section congratulates the law students who were selected to participate in the Section’s 2023 summer Diversity & Inclusion Fellowship program. The Class of 2023 represents one of our largest group of Fellows, representing eight different law schools, and was one of our most distinguished.
The Diversity & Inclusion Fellowship Program provides law students the opportunity to spend eight to ten weeks over the summer practicing environmental, land use, energy and/or natural resources law at a participating government agency or public interest organization. Each of the selected Fellows received a stipend, placement at a participating agency or organization, the opportunity to receive professional coaching, and mentorship. More information on the program is available at: https://calawyers.org/section/environmental-law/fellowships/ Several of our 2023 Fellows graciously agreed to share their experiences in the program, below. We congratulate all of them on a fantastic summer and for their continued success!
