Sponsorship Opportunities

California Lawyers Association (CLA) is a nonprofit, voluntary bar association serving thousands of licensed attorneys throughout California. We are the premier statewide voice for the legal community, advocating on behalf of our members before the Legislature, the Judiciary, the Executive Branch and the State Bar of California, which is the licensing and disciplinary regulator of our industry. CLA consists of 18 Sections that cover different law practice areas.

The Privacy Law Section is the newest section of the CLA and we are pleased to present our inaugural Annual Privacy Summit on February 9-10, 2023 in Los Angeles, California, at the UCLA Luskin Center’s beautiful conference facilities. We would like to invite your organization to participate as a sponsor. The venue includes conference rooms and facilities, dining areas, lodging, and parking.

Michael Murray, the ICO’s Head of Regulatory Strategy, is confirmed to be one of the keynote speakers for the Summit and invitations are outstanding to other regulators and keynote speakers in California and beyond. The Privacy Summit will feature timely topics in California privacy, including CCPA enforcement, CPRA prep and pitfalls, and will include a day-long track focusing on the media, gaming and entertainment industries in California. Our panelists will include representatives from government, business, and legal communities in California and beyond.

The CLA will publicize the Privacy Summit to its 800+ members in various channels, including email communications and social media platforms. Ours will be of the very few privacy conferences held in Los Angeles and we therefore anticipate a strong showing from privacy practitioners in the area.

At the Annual Privacy Summit, we will also honor a California Privacy Lawyer of the Year and will invite the privacy press and local press to cover the award ceremony. We will publicize the name of the recipient before the Privacy Summit to enhance publicity opportunities.
