A study by the American Bar Association found that over 25% of lawyers suffer from depression, 21% have a drinking problem, and 19% experience anxiety. Burnout and mental distress not only take a toll on the wellbeing of lawyers, but also make their clients, people, and businesses vulnerable, impairing decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management.
