Please share:

The Nonprofit Organizations Committee is excited to announce its presentation of:

Making Sure Your Disaster Relief Isn’t a Disaster:
Aid to Individuals and Businesses During COVID-19

June 18, 2020 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Please join the Nonprofit Organizations Committee for a Zoom presentation on how nonprofit can provide disaster relief to individuals and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.   The program will cover disaster relief grants, including to for-profit businesses; proper handling of direct disaster relief to individuals; and design of compliant employer-sponsored charitable disaster relief funds.

The program will be moderated by Jean Tom, a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP, in San Francisco.  As part of her firm’s Foundations and Nonprofits practice, Jean represents philanthropists, social entrepreneurs, public charities, private foundations, social welfare organizations, and trade associations, helping them navigate the complex array of regulatory regimes to achieve impact.  Jean will be joined by her Davis Wright Tremaine colleagues Marisa Meltebeke, David Lawson and Christine Hawkins.
