I. IN A NUTSHELL
This article will provide a few observations regarding the process of confirming a private sale of real property in a decedent’s estate. The problems that arise and the suggestions to address these problems are also applicable to sales made by a conservator, a guardian or a trustee when court confirmation of a sale is needed.
