2014-2015 is going to be an exciting year for the Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar of California. Our Executive Committee continues to expand its outreach program to underserved attorneys in rural areas of the state. We have also added a new program that reaches out to law students throughout the state.
We continue to serve the community with outstanding CLE programming and monthly webinars. This year we revamped the Big News – the section’s quarterly magazine. Big News offers relevant and timely articles for our solo and small firm community. This past summer, the California State Bar sponsored Solo Summit sold out to over three hundred participants for the first time in years. The growing population of solo and small firm attorneys emphasizes the increasing need for State Bar programming and outreach dedicated to serving our community.
