Newport Beach is one of the crown jewels of Southern California and the world. It has five-star restaurants, amazing views, and first-class service. The weather is pristine and so is the atmosphere. When you visit Newport Beach for the State Bar Solo Summit, I hope you will enjoy and experience everything the city has to offer.

The following are some hot-spot areas to which you can walk, drive, or take a taxi (or Uber) from the Solo Summit to best experience the city. The Balboa Village, Pier, and surrounding areas are of particular note. Corona del Mar is a beautiful and fun mini-city inside Newport Beach. Fashion Island is not really an island, but it does have world-class shopping. Balboa Island is an island inside the Newport Beach Harbor and is home to top-notch amusement attractions, dining, yachts, and people-watching.
