LOOK AROUND YOU
Being the Managing Shareholder of a small law firm is a tough job. Adding to it is the volunteer assignment of being chair to the California State Bar Solo and Small Firm Section Executive Committee. This adds to my day-to-day difficulties with being an attorney and running a small business. Currently, my office is in a growth phase, which requires constant managing of people and process, almost daily court appearances, and of course, as many networking functions as I can stand.
