Welcome to Issue No. 3/4 of the California Real Property Law Journal. Members of the Real Property Law Section Executive Committee are greatly pleased to partner with the Public Law Section to bring you this jointly produced issue. The overlap of real property law and public law has always been a significant one. As illustrated in this issue, the law has evolved to the point where the two disciplines are tightly integrated. Thus, it is essential for practitioners to stay informed of changes in the law in both disciplines.
