Summer has arrived, pandemic restrictions have relaxed, court proceedings are resuming, and for some, there is a cautious optimism that our present normal will stabilize. In that hope, the Section is putting on the virtual 38th Annual Meeting of the Labor & Employment Law Section on July 14-15, 2022. Our planning committee has been hard at work to ensure that this year’s meeting continues to serve a critical role in educating the state’s labor and employment bar on the key issues affecting our practice. This year we are featuring topics on how successful trial lawyers pull it off, health and safety rules and regulations, ethics basics, bullying in the workplace, and more. Also join us for our fireside chat with California Labor Commissioner Lilia Garcia-Brower. As always, the Employment Year In Review will keep you up to date on the key employment law cases of the last year. Of course, these are just some highlights of what the Annual Meeting will cover. Please see the full schedule for all the great content we are offering!
The Section is also planning the annual Wage and Hour Conference on September 8 and 9, 2022, which will feature an exciting program.
