Hello (again, after a long respite) ILS Members,

Welcome to the NEW California Lawyers Association-lnternational Law Newsletter (“CLA-INT’L News”)!  As the inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC) thirty-three years ago of the California Bar’s International Law Section Newsletter (in 1987-90), I return—with assistance from Managing Editor Tiffany Heah—to publish this online quarterly newsletter containing: announcements, commentary, international law news alerts, Section events announcements, and other relevant information for California international law practitioners.   We are committed to highlighting and promoting California international law practice.  Future columns will offer opinions and focus on international legal issues affecting transnational legal practice in California.
