USPTO to continue considering COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program applications until Dec. 31, 2021

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has published a notice in the Federal Register announcing a modification to its COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program. Requests that are compliant with the program’s requirements and are filed on or before December 31, 2021, will be accepted, even if more than 500 requests have already been approved.
