We invite our Environmental Law Section (ELS) members to stay connected and inspired through our new ELS Book Club. Our book selections below touch upon environmental law issues through a range of styles and topics. In this session, we will discuss Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring.

Mark Dubois, will reflect on the state of our environment and share thoughts on strengthening the environmental movement and the efforts that led to the California and Federal Wild and Scenic River Protection Acts. Eric Wesselman, Executive Director of the Friends of the River, will share the status of these water quality laws along with the recently passed Protecting America’s Wilderness Act.
