Kimberly maintains the highest level of knowledge and expertise through ongoing continuing education and frequent attendance at nationally recognized conferences on the most current information on advanced estate planning concepts and strategies, asset protection techniques, as well as changes in the law. Kimberly is a frequent speaker on legal topics such as asset protection, estate planning strategies, and prevention of financial elder abuse. Kimberly is an active member of her local community. She is the past President of the Desert Bar Association as well as the past President of the Desert Estate Planning Council. She served on the Advisory Board for First Foundation Bank, as well as a board member for the Animal Samaritans, College of the Desert Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert, Desert Samaritans for Seniors, and the Community Foundation Coachella Valley Fund. Kimberly currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Solo Small Firm Section of the California Lawyers Association and is its Education Chair (2020-2023). In her spare time, she is a Certified Adjunct Practice Advisor for Atticus, the most established business coaching organization for attorneys. Kimberly earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of La Verne with the highest honor. After completing her judicial clerkship with the California Supreme Court, she has been active in her law practice. Kimberly is a member of the Wealth Counsel; Elder Counsel; and the Trusts and Estate Section of the California Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice law in all courts in California, the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Central District and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, gardening, baking and practicing yoga.
