Using Fastcase to Find CLA Sections’ Publications

All CLA members have complementary access to the Fastcase legal research system. To access Fastcase, login to your CLA account and click on Fastcase. On the next page, you have the option of clicking a hyperlink to directly view Sections publications, including the Criminal Law Journal. Editions of the Criminal law Journal are listed by date and volume. You can also download the editions as a PDF.

Alternatively, you can locate and search Sections publications through the Fastcase system. Click on “Start Researching Now” to go to the Fastcase legal research platform. On the left hand “Featured Content” column, click on Criminal Law Journal.

You can search the library of CLA Sections’ publications by clicking on “Options” to the right of the search bar. Next, go to “Search Options,” and click on “Search Scope.” Under the right column, go to Secondary Sources–Commentary–Law Journals and Reviews–State–California, and select CLA. Within this search scope you can use search terms to search CLA Sections’ publications.
