CLA’s Workers’ Compensation (WC) is offering comprehensive educational webinars in July and August 2025 specifically tailored to prepare attorneys taking the worker’s compensation specialization examination in October 2025. The first webinar series is being delivered on  July 26-27, 2025. To further support attorneys, two, one-hour Legal Specialization Essay writing webinars will be presented on August 15 and August 22, 2025. The essay writing webinars will review sample questions and answers with essay writing tips.

“There are several reasons why lawyers working in the workers’ compensation legal practice area should consider taking the exam,” explains immediate past chair of CLA’s WC Section, Judge Sharon Velzy. “First, it is the only way for attorneys to advertise to their clients that they are a certified legal specialist.
