I. INTRODUCTION
Lawyering and journalism share a lot. Both professions are governed by deadlines, require copious reading and writing, and are among the nation’s least trusted trades.1
Despite those similarities, many lawyers do not understand the basics of journalism, and many journalists – especially generalists – have only a superficial understanding of what lawyers do.
