I am pleased to present to you the first issue of the 2017 Business Law News, featuring four insightful articles that I hope will be of interest to you.
First up, authors Katie Thomson and Andrew Barr give an overview of existing law relating to autonomous vehicles and an update in light of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s new policy (September 2016) on development and deployment of automated vehicle technologies.
Next, author Demetri Economou provides an introduction to the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA). His article goes on to update California business lawyers in light of the Ninth Circuit’s employee "password sharing" decision in United States v. Nosal, 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 21868.
