Trademark Modernization Act (TMA): Public Comment Period and Upcoming Roundtables

On May 18, the USPTO published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to implement changes to trademark rules of practice authorized by the Trademark Modernization Act (TMA) of 2020. For information about the TMA and the related NPRM, please visit the PTO’s TMA webpage. 

TMA Formal Public Comments

As described in the NPRM and TMA webpage, the PTO is seeking public comments on the proposed rules. If you and/or your colleagues are interested in providing comments, formal written comments should be submitted here by Monday, July 19, 2021.
