The USPTO’s new patent quality metrics web resource

The USPTO unveiled a new patent quality metrics webpage which shares the metrics the USPTO uses to gauge patent examination quality with the public. The webpage also reveals how the USPTO assesses the quality of its processes and measures stakeholders’ perceptions. The USPTO will use the data on the webpage, as well as internal, Patent Public Advisory Committee, and other stakeholder input, to guide improvements.
