What’s Up with Us!

On this month’s What’s Up With Us, we will discuss Salisbury v. City of Santa Monica, a 9th Cir. case which held the FHAA is not applicable to occupants of a property who don’t sign a lease and don’t pay rent, and the case Gil v. Winn Dixie, an 11th Cir. case which held websites are not places of public accommodation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our special guest interviewee will be Sonakshi Kapoor, who will be speaking about construction contracts and what lawyers need to look out for when representing homeowner clients against contractors.
