Interested in learning more about cyber-insurance and helping your client mitigate cyber risk? If so, please join us for a presentation on incident response, with a focus on cyber-insurance. We will cover the basics of cyber-insurance in the context of a comprehensive data protection and risk management program, as well as some advanced topics. We will also explore key policy provisions, exclusions, the application process (including security measures typically required for policy issuance), coverage disputes, and trends.

John Pavolotsky is an attorney in the San Francisco office of Stoel Rives LLP and the Vice Chair of the IP Section. John specializes in data privacy and cybersecurity matters and technology transactions. He is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Law, UC Berkeley (Haas) School of Business, and UC San Diego. John has taught Comparative Privacy Law at the Santa Clara University School of Law and Technology Transactions Law at the UC Davis School of Law.
