As nationwide legalization of cannabis draws near, new opportunities and risks present themselves to cannabis companies and businesses interested in engaging with the industry. Understanding the legal nuances of recreational and medical cannabis at the federal and state levels is critical to successfully navigating this growing industry. In this program, we will discuss the current lay of the land regarding where it’s legal, where it’s not, and what that means to lawyers, cannabis clients, and non-cannabis businesses who may want to do business within the industry.
