July 27, 2023 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Free event! 1 Hour MCLE; 1 Implicit Bias. Presented by LawPay.

So much of the practice of law involves decision-making, and convincing others to make better decisions based upon fact rather than emotion. This course is intended to guide the attendees to appreciate how they involuntarily make decisions and guide them to recognize and prevent bias, and to know how to effectively communicate with persons whose bias affects others.
Claude E. Ducloux has been licensed in Texas since 1977, and has also been licensed in California and Colorado. He is Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law, and in Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In 2011, he won the highest statewide award from the State Bar of Texas for lifetime contribution to CLE (the “Gene Cavin Award”), and has spoken in more than 500 programs throughout the United States since Jan 1, 2016, where attendees regularly rate his presentations very highly. Mr. Ducloux has a long legacy of bar service, including being President of the Austin Bar Association, and serving as Chair of almost every major Bar-related entity, as well as the Texas Bar Foundation.
