#CLAWellnessChallenge: Virtual Yoga for Walkers and Runners Alike

Free event! Presented by the Health and Wellness Committee of the California Lawyers Association.

The session consists of a 50 minute yoga sequence with breathing exercises which will help the runner/ walker to prepare the mind and body to maximize performance. The practice includes both stretches and engagement of different parts of the body moving from the feet up to the head with helpful tips and modifications. In the end, a deep relaxation will bring more balance and flexibility to the mind and body.
This session will be suitable for beginners. We suggest dressing comfortably and to be in a space with enough clearance for movement on and just slightly beyond a traditional yoga mat (or beach towel).

Mona Ness RYT is a C-IAYT International Yoga Therapist who has been teaching yoga for more than a decade. She is a specialist in treating low back and shoulder pain caused by improper posture and lack of alignment. She teaches private and group classes online and in-person.
