Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite®

The 28th Annual Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite^® is just days away! We look forward to seeing many of you on October 17-20, 2019, at the Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp, California, minutes from Yosemite National Park. We have planned an outstanding array of panel discussions and morning plenary speakers, including Kori Carew (Friday), Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of the UC Berkeley School of Law (Saturday), and Jared Blumenfeld, California Secretary for Environmental Protection, and Wade Crowfoot, California Secretary for Natural Resources (Sunday). We will have a lunchtime Q&A session with Senator Scott Wiener on Friday, and our Saturday dinner speaker will be Mustafa Santiago Ali of the National Wildlife Federation.

We are also delighted to announce the recipient of our annual Lifetime Achievement Award, Mike Sherwood, a longtime attorney with Earthjustice. Join us for an informal fireside chat with Mr. Sherwood Saturday at 5:30pm, followed by our Saturday evening dinner at 7pm, where the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented.

We are implementing several new programs at this year’s conference. All information regarding the conference will be available at your fingertips via the conference mobile app, which outlines all activities at the conference and will include any updates or changes. We are also pleased to introduce a mentorship program this year, where experienced conference-goers will be paired with new attendees to help them get the most out of the conference.
