Annual Legislative Review + MCLE—Oct. 18, 2019

The Agribusiness Committee of the California Lawyers Association Business Law Section will continue its 2019 Agriculture Tour series with a Legislative and Regulatory Review.  Come learn about recent legislation and regulatory actions impacting agriculture, wine industry, food processing, water districts, and food producers.

Date and Time:  Friday, October 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Location:  California New Car Dealers Association, 1517 L St, Sacramento, CA 95814

Description: Speakers will address issues such as safe drinking water legislation, the future of the Bay Delta and water conveyance, recent actions on Proposition 65, climate adaptation and healthy soils, air regulations, packaging and incentives, and more. Every year this proves to be an educational and insightful event providing not only a look back at important legislative and regulatory actions, but a look forward at what is to come. 

Invited Speakers: California Secretary for Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot, DWR Director Karla Nemeth, State Water Resources Control Board Chair Joaquin Esquivel, Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment Director Lauren Zeise, and many other key officials and leaders.

MCLE: 3 units of general MCLE credit will be offered by Baker Manock & Jensen, PC. 

California Lawyers Association is not the MCLE provider for this program.

Cost: This is a FREE event, including lunch and MCLE credits.
