The Taxation Section functions largely through its Committees. Committees address tax issues related to specific tax topics and tax practitioners. The Committees plan programs, prepare position papers and communicate with their members through email, meetings, newsletters and conference calls. You may join one or more Committees free of charge.

While we desire and encourage your enrollment in as many Committees and Public Outreach Programs as you wish, we encourage you to become active in at least one. Without your individual involvement, the Committees have no purpose.

With the transition to the California Lawyers Association, our method for signing up to committee is currently being revised.  Please write to Taxation@calawyers.org in the interim, and ask our staff.
