Confused by the CCPA, CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, UCPA, CTDPA, ADPPA, GDPR, etc.? Is your client a business, service provider, contractor, data controller, data processor, or none of the above? Is there really a difference between personal data and personal information? Do cross border data transfer rules make your head spin (or explode)? If so, please join us for this important program, where we will start slow, provide a holistic view on modern privacy (and data protection) laws, and then take a deeper dive into the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA) and its attendant regulations. This program will also cover privacy issues in technology transactions.
