To provide you with the information you need, Albert Camacho from the Executive Committee of the Criminal Law Section will present this year’s New Laws Webinar, describing all of the changes to criminal law for 2023 and what defense counsel and prosecutors need to know.

Albert Camacho Jr. is a Deputy Public Defender with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. He has litigated juvenile and adult felony and misdemeanor proceedings, in addition to litigating writ petitions in the Appellate Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court, the California Court of Appeal, Second District, and the California Supreme Court. He has presented on various criminal law issues including speedy trial, felony sentencing, motion practice, and immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
