Speaker: Dr. Jimmy Conway

Jimmy H. Conway, M.D. graduated from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in 1983.  In 1989 he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery and began his career.  For over 30 years of practice he specialized in the surgical management of patients with shoulder and athletic injuries.  Dr. Conway is Board Certified orthopedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.  In 2021 Dr. Conway retired from the practice of medicine.

For personal reasons in 2009 Dr. Conway developed an interest in nutrition.  He subsequently took an online course from eCornell University on Plant Based Nutrition and in 2018 became Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine.  Dr. Conway speaks publicly on the subject at various events and continues to help others on their journey to health.  He and his wife are currently developing an online nutrition program to teach the basics of nutrition and as well as developing a cookbook.  More information can be found at plantbasedokc.com as well as social media platforms under PlantbasedOKC.
