The California State Bar requires all licensed attorneys to participate in 25 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) every three years. Six of those hours must be in the following areas as follows:
- 4.0 Hours of Legal ethics
- 1.0 Hour of Mental or physical issues that impair professional competence
- 1.0 Hour of Elimination of bias in the Legal Profession and Society
In one day, attendees at this conference will receive CLE credit for all six of these “special” credit CLE hours. The speakers for each of the five panels in this conference have been carefully selected as noted experts in their field. Each will present an entertaining and educational session to enlighten the audience, as well as provide practical advice on how to address problems that arise in each of these categories. It is the intent of this conference to provide information, suggestions and tips that will hopefully serve to increase the level of competence for all attorneys practicing law in the State of California.
