Brian L. Bloom is a partner and transactional attorney with Frandzel Robins Bloom & Csato, L.C.  He represents banks, lenders and other financial institutions, as well as receivers and special servicers.  
  
 His practice focuses on complex financial transactions, and he has successfully closed a range of such matters, including real estate secured transactions, asset-based lines of credit, C&I loans, ESOP financing, unsecured transactions and purchase and sale agreement.  He handles all aspects of loan documentation, including loan origination, modifications, loan restructurings and distressed debt work outs.    
  
 Prior to being a member of Frandzel’s transactional group, Brian was a member of the firm’s litigation department, where he handled collections, receiverships, writs of attachments and other pre-judgment remedies.  He also handled post-judgment work, including abstracts of judgment and ORAPs.

MaryBeth Heydt is a Partner at DTO Law in Los Angeles.  She has over twenty-five years of in-house, AmLaw100 law firm and Fortune 50 business advisory experience representing and advising commercial real estate investors and developers, lenders, borrowers, and public agency clients. 
 
MaryBeth’s practice focuses on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.  Her transactional experience includes a wide variety of product types including, multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, sale/leaseback, gas stations, convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, agriculture, and gaming. On the commercial and corporate side, MaryBeth has extensive experience advising and representing clients in matters involving real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, construction, land use/zoning, planning, condemnation, environmental, and property management. Ms. Heydt also has experience advising clients in business entity formation and governance. On the finance side, MaryBeth advises and represents lenders in loan originations, modifications, refinancing, workout, foreclosure, and lender liability actions.  MaryBeth also served as an internal commercial real estate workout and lending advisor to one of the largest banks in the United States.  MaryBeth spent ten years as in-house counsel to commercial real estate investors and developers with assets across the U.S. MaryBeth also holds a Master of Planning degree from the University of Southern California.

Sharon Yarber is a Vice President and National Account Manager with Chicago Title Insurance Company where she develops primarily national commercial title and escrow business with all types of customers, including attorneys, brokers, developers, principals to purchase, sale and financing transactions, and lending institutions, both private and institutional.
 
Sharon has been in the title insurance business for over 40 years, and has previously acted as senior underwriting counsel for Chicago Title and its competitors. In that capacity she has been involved in underwriting the issuance of title policies for complex commercial and industrial transactions across the nation, and has also provided legal and underwriting guidance to escrow staff when confronted with complicated escrow issues.
 
A native Angelino, Sharon graduated from UCLA receiving her BA degree with a major in Sociology and then received her JD degree from Southwestern University School of Law where she served on the Law Review.
 
Sharon has been active over the years in the title insurance subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association where she previously served as chair and co-chair of that Section and continues to serve on its Steering Committee. She has been a frequent lecturer at bar association programs and has giving many presentations about title insurance policies and endorsements to law firms and other customer groups. She has also guest lectured several times to students at Southwestern as well as the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. She is a resident of Rancho Palos Verdes and has two horses and one dog.

Dianne Jackson McLean has over 30 years of community economic development, real estate, tax-exempt financing, relocation, land use, and housing experience. Her practice includes the representation of former redevelopment agencies, public housing authorities, and other public agencies in major economic development projects and housing developments, including but not limited to shopping centers, hotels, public-private public housing developments under various financing programs provided by local, state or federal government agencies.  She serves as general counsel and special counsel to public housing authorities and local city and county agencies in on-going agency administration, open meetings and public records requirements, relocation issues and related matters.  She has substantial experience in all aspects of complex real estate closings, including the drafting of and/or reviewing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, land disposition and development agreements, lenders loan documents, tax-exempt bond documents; resolving title issues, environmental issues, including issues related to hazardous materials and related matters.  She prepares public agencies’ loan documents for rental housing and ownership housing developments, including secondary resale documents.

Ms. Jackson McLean also represents nonprofit housing developers in the development and construction of low and moderate-income rental and ownership housing, including mobile home parks.  She provides all necessary legal services to develop various projects, including negotiating contracts to acquire land, review and negotiate lender documents from both the private and public sectors, review and negotiate partnership documents in transactions involving low-income housing tax credits.

In addition, Ms. Jackson McLean is a frequent lecturer and/or panel speaker at various conferences related to affordable housing, economic development, and ethics.
