Evans, joined affiliates of National Bar Association Region IX, which hosted pro bono legal clinics throughout Los Angeles County in January to assist the victims of the LA wildfires.  Read more
California Lawyers Association (CLA), the state’s largest volunteer Bar Association with 45,000 members, announced today is has partnered with Electronic Discover Reference Model (EDRM), the internationally recognized e-discovery global best practices leader. This elite group of attorneys, technical experts, AI industry leaders, universities, and others, will improve e-discovery, privacy, security, and information governance for California’s justice system and legal profession. California Lawyers Association’s (CLA) Privacy Law Section is hosting its Third Annual Privacy Summit in Los Angeles on February 27-28, 2025, at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center. This two-day event will cover a comprehensive range of issues impacting legal professionals practicing privacy law. Participants may earn up to 11 hours of MCLE, including 3 hours of Technology in the practice of law. Read more

The California Judges Association (CJA)’s Judicial Fairness Coalition (JFC) has planned a series of regional virtual town hall meetings throughout the state titled “Judges & Politics: Navigating the Intersection of Law, Power and Ethics.” All of the town halls are free of charge and open to the public, and the first two programs in the series will take place February 25 and March 19 at 4:30 p.m. PT. There will be four town halls in total, presented in collaboration with the California Lawyers Association and the California Lawyers Foundation. Read more
