LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Written by Bryan Payne*
Now that we have reached the summer of 2025, we have some exciting months ahead. For the last two years, your Real Property Law Journal has been limited to one omnibus issue each year. This is largely due to our authors’ success. During the pandemic, many of our authors had time to write and we had a backlog of articles that lasted two full years. As we have recovered from the pandemic, many of our authors have simply been too busy to contribute. We congratulate them and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We are turning a new page. Your Journal has made concerted efforts to reach out to new voices while not losing our focus on timely topics and scholarly quality.
Eli Underwood gives us a primer on partition law. Lou Galuppo brings the first installment in a series on California coastal law. Mark Guithues brings us up to date on homeowner association statute and case law.
